\nAt the end of her long tapered fingers, her nails glowed pearlescent silver, small pieces of crystal catching the light with her every gesture, and

with razor blades.<\/p>\n

Some things can’t be cleaned. Some things must be remade
\ninto
\nsmaller pieces.<\/p>\n
Only the\u00a0essential<\/p>\n
elements are strong enough<\/p>\n
tools for composition.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
And what when a fantasy is broken?
\nWhat smaller pieces of dream could be used to build anything?
\nIs there
\na
\nsort of sanity?<\/p>\n
What part of sanity could bring back the evaporated promise?<\/p>\n
No piece of this dream captured in words,
\ncaptured in sound,
\ncaptured in form–
\ncould hold the life it lived.<\/p>\n
It’s better not to resurrect the dead.
\nIt’s best not to start anything at all.<\/p>\n
I’ve been told these things, and yet.<\/p>\n
There is a poison I would rather drink,<\/p>\n
were it with him.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
They say this world is like licking honey from the razor’s edge,
\nand we must take every part–<\/p>\n
the nectar, the blade, the flesh, and the dream.<\/p>\n
Forgiveness is not resurrection.<\/p>\n
And, like the world,<\/p>\n
it does not exist in part.<\/p>\n
So when it is impossible–
\nstart cutting,
\nand do not stop
\nuntil the elements themselves<\/p>\n
